Organic Vinegar

Messino Organic Vinegar is made exclusively from organic wine varieties from the Peloponnese region. Our raw material, organic wine, comes exclusively from organic vineyards where no artificial chemicals, such as herbicides and pesticides, are used. Messino Organic Vinegar is certified by the DIO organization and its certificate is renewed annually.
It has an intense, raw aroma, medium to high acidity, and an earthy, sour taste.

Messino Organic Vinegar can be used as a substitute for conventional vinegar in all recipes. It offers the same intensity but with even more health benefits. Vinegar helps to lower cholesterol and prevent cardiovascular disease and has been shown to have antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

Organic vinegar is recommended for those following a healthy/organic diet, but also for any vinegar lover. It is the perfect ingredient for any recipe. We recommend using it in marinades, as its properties allow fish or meat to absorb more flavor. It gives a burst of flavor to any dressing or vinaigrette without adding salt. Use Messino Organic Vinegar as a base for any type of sauce. Replace wine in cooking with organic vinegar for extra acidity and less alcohol.

Apart from cooking, vinegar has many other uses. It is widely used in the cleaning industry for its anti-microbial properties and in the cosmetics industry.

Available in 250ml glass bottle.

After acidification, the vinegar is cooled, clarified and filtered, and the final product is stored under controlled temperature and light conditions. Finally, the organic vinegar is bottled in a special bottling line under strict hygienic conditions, ready to hit the shelves and land on your plate
