Basil White Wine Vinegar
The Messino range of herbal vinegar is inspired by the aromatic plants and flavours of Mediterranean cuisine. The fragrant basil, one of our favourite herbs, is harmoniously combined with Messino White wine Vinegar to create a unique dressing. Messino white wine Vinegar is made from Greek white wine varieties and flavoured with fresh basil, which is naturally preserved and extracted, increasing in intensity with time. It is characterised by medium acidity, intense herbal aroma and fresh and acidic taste.
Herbal Vinegar with Basil by Messino is an excellent alternative to common vinegar or fresh herbs in cooking and on the table.
COMBINE WITH:
Use Herbal Vinegar with Basil in your salads to add flavour and aroma to any combination. Ideal for salads that contain tomatoes, such as the popular Greek salad, tabbouleh salad or traditional maniatiki salad.
It adds flavour and aroma to red or white pasta sauces or is used as a base in pesto sauce for extra flavour, while it also enhances soups such as meat soup, tomato soup, etc. Try it even in marinades for grilled meats to soften the meat and add intensity in flavor.
Available in a 250ml glass bottle.

Basil-flavoured white vinegar by Messino is produced in our facilities in Messinia from selected white wine varieties. We receive wine from white grape varieties, which are stored in large tanks and then transferred to production for fermentation.
Once the process is complete, the vinegar is cooled, clarified, and filtered and the final product is stored in large storage tanks. This is followed by the bottling process, during which we select the aromatic herbs by hand and bottle them under strict hygienic conditions.
The production process of Messino Herbal Vinegar is HACCP ISO 22000:2018 and FSSC:22000 certified.
